Friday the 23rd of April - Year 4, 5 & 6

Today was a relaxing Friday in year 4, 5 & 6. We are all excited for the weekend! The afternoon began by celebrating who made it into sports! Isla made it into girls soccer and Amelia made it into Newcombe Ball Jr. Congrats girls, great job! Then we ate afternoon tea together as a class which was tuna bake and assorted fruit like pineapple and watermelon.

Most of the girls went right to acrobatics class, which they were so excited about. The rest of us wanted to have free play in the classroom so that is what we did! Miss. Georgia & Miss. Kaylah took turns battling Kushi in ping pong, and the boys all played lego together. Cynthia read her book on the couch and Aarnav danced to music that year 2-3 were playing from the speaker. Once the girls came back from acrobatics, all karate kids and choir went to their classes. For the remainder of the afternoon we got our energy out on the trampoline playing various games together.

We had a great week learning about Anzac Day and getting back into the swing of things. Everyone is excited about Term 2’s new theme of Harry Potter! See you Monday 😃
