This afternoon in the Year 4,5 & 6 classroom we got super messy creating our own fidget toys! For afternoon tea we had cheese pizza which is definitely a crowd favourite, along with the usual plate of fruit.
We then made our way down to the craft room to grab some supplies to create our DIY fidget toys. We decided to take some old balloons, flour, recycled beads and some of us even used pop poms. We held the balloons open for each other while we experimented the easiest way to get the objects into the balloon. Matilda created a funnel from scrap paper and it worked beautifully! When attempting to put the flower into the balloons it went all over us, we looked like bakers in a kitchen. We then tied all the balloons up and we were left with some really awesome and easy to make fidget toys.
The rest of the afternoon we relaxed, played ping pong and played with our new fidgets! We had an awesome afternoon today and can’t wait for tomorrow.
